Job Purpose

Isambane Mining is looking for a dedicated and skilled Lowbed Driver to transport heavy equipment efficiently and safely. The role requires a responsible and safety-conscious individual with experience handling mining equipment.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

✔ Matric / Grade 12

✔ Valid Code 14 driver’s license

✔ Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)

✔ Minimum 3 years’ experience in operating lowbed trucks

Key Responsibilities:

• Transporting heavy equipment to designated locations
• Loading and unloading machinery from the lowbed truck
• Conducting pre-use vehicle inspections and completing checklists
• Ensuring optimal machine conditions before operation
• Adhering to safety regulations and company standards
• Reporting incidents and accidents to the supervisor

• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic)
• Planning and problem-solving abilities
• Customer service orientation
• High level of integrity, honesty, reliability, and assertiveness
• Must have valid medical fitness records
